Here you find useful information about our guided tours.

“Guided Tour” means that a motorcycle-riding tourguide will be guiding you and a back up vehicle will be travelling with you carrying your luggage and spare parts.

Riders should bring their own motorcycle gear ( helmet, boots, gloves etc. ) We highly recommend protection gear for tropical climate.

In our back up vehicle ( double cabin Pick up ) we have seats available for Non-Riders.

 Maya Moto Tours reserves the right to alter the tour itinerary or arrangements, if such alterations become advisable or necessary for the comfort and well being of the participants.

Your  luggage will be carried by our support vehicle : a  4 X 4  double cabin pick up.

All participants are required to sign a standard release of liability agreement as well as rental agreement, stating responsibility for the motorcycle. Maya Moto Tours accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury or cost whatsoever caused directly/or indirectly by, or as a result of the tour, to any rider, participant, third party and/or property.

Traffic violations are the responsibility of the rider. We request every rider to follow the rules given by our tour guide. Any rider riding in a manner that could affect the safety of themselves or the touring party will be excluded from the tour. No refund will be given in these situations.

Usually we stay overnight in middleclass hotels ( ** ). All rooms have a private bath. Depending on climate and altitude we have booked airconditioned rooms.

Bookings will be accepted upon receipt of a deposit fee of 10 % of the total ( minimum of $ 150,- US per person) .

This can be made via bank draft or electronic transfer to our US or German based bank account. Details will be given after booking. 

The total amount of the tour is payable at least 30 days prior to tour departure.

MINIMUM of 4 paying riders are required for the tour to go as scheduled.

Cancellation of tour by the client until 30 days prior, loss of deposit of 10 % .

Cancellation of tour by the client from 29 days to 15 days prior, loss of 50% .

No refund of the total amount if notified less than 14 days prior to trip.

Cancellation by Maya Moto Tours : Refund of all payments !

Riding will be both on pavement and dirt or gravel roads but not on rough terrain. Rider should have some experience on dirt roads.

The client is responsible for his/her adequate travel, health and accident insurance as well as trip cancellation insurance. The motorcycles are insured according to the laws of each country. A damage deposit of 1000 $ US is required at the time of arrival, fully refundable of the return of the motorcycle undamaged. Credit Cards an be used ( Mastercard / Visa ) .

Participants should be in good physical condition as well as arrive with an attitude of flexibility and willingness to be part of a team. Riders should have some dirt road riding experience, fully licensed and 25 years and older.
