Ruta Maya Tour

I can safely say that whatever my expectations were previous to the trip they were immensely surpassed by the reality of it. The bikes, the itinerary, the lodging and the food were all great and yet this was a trip that from day one felt authentic and genuine, not some Disney World vacation. Richard Eisenbeis,Matawan NJ,  U.S.A. did the Ruta Maya Tour in Feb. 2007 and wrote: The tour was EXCELLENT!  Matthias is such a terrific guy.  He was so organized and knew so much about the culture, history, flora and fauna of the area.  He was an articulate communicator.  Everything went so smoothly.  I found all the accomodations and places we ate to be wonderful.  We sure did get a taste of the country the average tourist would not experience.  This is what I was hoping for and I was not disappointed.  The amount of time on the road each day was comfortable.  I am going to recommend this tour to some of my other motorcycling friends.Thank you all (especially Matthias) for a once in a lifetime experience.

Takeshi Kobayashi, Japan, and his friends were on a customized tour through the Mayan World from Copan in Honduras to Tikal : " What a wonderful touring! Although the tour distance was below 700Km, many interesting places were packed in the route. The tour was started from mysterious Copan ruins, we crossed the peaceful Honduras-Guatemala boarder, passed the mountainous jungle where native Indian lives. Once we had to go back the way because of muddy rough road. Finally we arrived at magnificence Tikal ruins. Every place was very interesting and fascinating. Additionally we want to express our thanks for strong support of Maya Moto Tours. Since our New Year holiday was not so long, we negotiated about the route. Maya Moto Tours kindly revised the touring route many times and provided us with useful information. During the touring, two reliable guys supported us. We could really enjoy the tour due to their support. Someday, we would like to visit there again."
