Highlights
In the north coast Garifuna community of Tela,
we will familiarize ourselves with the provided Yamaha XT 600E and
spend the evening relaxing on the beach. But get
revived for the next six exhilarating days! We'll be hitting the pavement
- when it's there. We'll visit Punta Sal Marine Park where we can take
an optional boat tour through the estuaries and the Pico Bonito
Mountain Range with lush valleys and devastating views. We'll ford
rivers, snake past jungle waterfalls, Garifuna
villages, and the Capiro y Calentura National Park with its magnificent
views of coastal Trujillo, the historic first capital of
Honduras.
